Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon MBBCh, FRCS (Eng), FRCS (Tr&Orth)

Marck has practised for over 15 years as an NHS and Private Orthopaedic Consultant at the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, specialising in disorders of the shoulder, elbow and hand. Most common procedures performed are shoulder arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement for arthritis and trauma, Dupuytrens disease, carpal tunnel and other nerve releases, trigger finger releases and mini joint replacements for thumb arthritis.

Marck is involved in research, teaches junior and senior trainees, both in the UK and abroad.

Mr Van Liefland treats the following conditions:

Degenerative conditions of the shoulder, elbow wrist and hand including rotator cuff disease, frozen shoulder, arthritic shoulders, elbow and hands, tennis and golfers elbow
Traumatic conditions include fractures of the clavicle, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, tendon and ligament ruptures and joint dislocations
Sports injuries including Skier's Thumb
Tendonitis around the wrist, elbow and shoulder including trigger fingers
Trapped nerves including carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome
Industrial or occupational injury of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand
