Meet our highly skilled team of professionals

Peter George

CEO

Peter has over 40 years’ experience in healthcare and life sciences, having qualified in Pathology, with a Masters in both Clinical, Biochemistry and Immunology and an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University Chicago.

In 2017 he stepped down from running Clinigen plc to found Enigma Holdings, an investment company that specialises in health, wellbeing, sport, learning, community and social housing, and XPG Ltd an investment company focused on property.

Clinigen Group plc is a company he started in 2010 as a global specialty pharmaceuticals and pharma services business and floated in 2012; being one of the most successful floats on the AIM stock market.

In addition to Enigma Holdings and XPG, Peter currently holds a number of public and private company roles; Chairman of Benchmark Holdings PLC, NED at Osler Diagnostics, advisor at Clinigen Group, Ergomed plc, Gresham House and Oxford Sciences Innovations plc.

Tony Westbrook

Chairman

Tony is Chair of Enigma Healthcare Board having helped set up Enigma Wellness in 2020. Tony is passionate about making a difference to the services available, to improve positive mental health and wellbeing, especially in the local communities. His experience comes from working as a Consultant hip and knee surgeon and Major Trauma Consultant at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust for the last 16 years, this allows him to act as Chairman for our clinical care. Tony has also co-edited a book “Your Mental Health” illustrating our vision to provide best in class support through research in this important area.

Jemima Cope

Chief Operating Officer

Jemima started working for Enigma Wellness in 2021, and was involved in the development the clinical offering at Instinct Gym and Wellbeing and establishing the BUPA Health Centre. More recently Jemima has set up Enigma Healthcare, to allow healthcare to be convenient and more accessible to the local community and surrounding area. Jemima has worked clinically over the last 11 years as a physiotherapist most recently at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, in Oswestry.

Dr Anthony Patiniott

Enigma Healthcare Clinical Director

Anthony started working for Enigma Healthcare in September 2023. He is passionate about providing the highest level of quality healthcare in a state-of-the-art environment, with successful patient outcomes. Anthony started his career in Medicine just under 30 years ago and enjoyed working as a full-time GP partner for 25 years serving the same large North Cheshire training practice, indeed as Senior Partner in the latter years. He became a GP Trainer, GP Appraiser and provided a supportive role for Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Pharmacist training. He also has enjoyed his thread vein aesthetic work over the last decade. Along with all the team at Enigma Healthcare, he is passionate about promoting Health and Wellbeing, with a personal active interest in exercise, being a keen runner, as well as having a busy family life.
