By booking and/or receiving treatment at Enigma Healthcare, you enter into a contract for the provision of healthcare services and agree to pay all fees due in accordance with these Terms.
Fees are payable at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If any sum remains unpaid after it becomes due:
We will take reasonable steps to contact you by telephone and email to request payment.
If payment remains outstanding for 90 days from the due date, and no agreed payment arrangement is in place, we reserve the right to refer the debt to a third-party debt recovery agency.
Reasonable and proportionate recovery costs and statutory interest may be applied where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
If you are using private medical insurance, you remain personally responsible for:
Any excess, co-payment or shortfall;
Any amount not authorised or not paid by your insurer;
Any treatment not covered under your policy;
Any amount not submitted or settled for any reason.
Enigma Healthcare will ordinarily submit claims to insurers on behalf of the clinic and, in many cases, on behalf of consultants practising at the clinic. However, some consultants operate independently and may submit their own claims via their personal secretary or administrative team. In such cases, the billing relationship may be directly between you, your insurer and the consultant.
Regardless of who submits the claim, you remain responsible for ensuring that all fees are settled in full.
Where an insurer does not settle the full amount due, or payment is declined, the outstanding balance becomes payable by you. If payment is not received:
We will contact you by telephone and email to request settlement.
If the balance remains unpaid for 90 days from the date it became due, and no agreed arrangement is in place, we reserve the right to refer the debt to a third-party recovery agency.
Reasonable recovery costs and statutory interest may be applied where legally permitted.

Is clinically and professionally responsible for their own practice
Must maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance
Must comply with Enigma Healthcare’s Practising Privileges Policy
Where consultants bill independently, Enigma Healthcare is not responsible for fees invoiced directly by the consultant.
