Detect changes early. Monitor your skin with confidence.
Enigma Healthcare is one of the first providers in Cheshire to offer Whole Body Mole Mapping using the FotoFinder® Automated Total Body Mapping system — a head-to-toe digital photography service that builds a lasting baseline of your skin, reviewed by a Consultant Dermatologist.
Whether you have lots of moles, a family history of skin cancer, or simply want reassurance, Mole Mapping gives you a detailed record of your skin that can be compared year after year, making it easier to catch changes early.
Based in Tarporley, we welcome patients from across Cheshire, Chester and North Wales — so you no longer need to travel to Manchester or London for this level of skin surveillance.
Whole Body Mole Mapping from £275
Whole Body Mole Mapping is a comprehensive skin surveillance service — not a one-off mole check or skin cancer screening appointment. It photographs your entire skin surface, head to toe, to create a permanent digital baseline that can be compared year after year, helping to identify new or changing moles that might otherwise go unnoticed.
If you’re searching for a mole check, a dermatologist to check moles, or a skin cancer screening because you’re worried about a specific mole right now, our Dermatology Consultants can see you directly — see “Who is this suitable for?” below. Mole Mapping is designed for long-term monitoring, not for assessing an existing concern.
Your appointment combines:
This combination provides a highly accurate way of monitoring your skin over time while giving you reassurance and expert guidance.
Advanced technology, specialist expertise and long-term reassurance.
Whole Body Mole Mapping is only as valuable as the technology behind it and the expertise used to interpret the results. At Enigma Healthcare, we’ve combined world-leading digital imaging with Consultant Dermatologist oversight to provide one of the most advanced skin surveillance services available in Cheshire.
Your first appointment creates a detailed photographic baseline of your skin from head to toe. Rather than relying on memory or photographs taken at home, every future appointment is compared directly against this record, making even subtle changes easier to identify over time.
Moles and skin lesions often change gradually over months or years. Comparing standardised images taken in exactly the same positions each year makes it easier to identify new moles or subtle changes that may otherwise go unnoticed. If an area of change is identified, your Consultant Dermatologist can compare both the current and previous images as part of their assessment.
Patients across Cheshire and North Wales have traditionally travelled to Manchester or London to access comprehensive Whole Body Mole Mapping. Enigma Healthcare is one of the first providers in Cheshire to offer FotoFinder® Automated Total Body Mapping locally, making advanced skin surveillance more accessible for patients across Chester, Knutsford, Nantwich, Northwich, Crewe, Stafford and North Wales.
We use the FotoFinder® Automated Total Body Mapping (ATBM) system to photograph your skin from head to toe in a series of standardised, high-resolution images.
Because every image is captured from the same positions and angles each time, your first appointment creates a digital baseline — and every appointment after that can be compared against it, image for image. This makes it possible to notice a new mole, or a small change in an existing one, that would be very difficult to spot by memory or eye alone.
Intelligent software supports this process by highlighting areas of change for review. It does not diagnose skin cancer. Every set of images is examined by a Consultant Dermatologist, who makes the clinical assessment and lets you know if anything needs a closer look.
