How it works:

1. Book Your Travel Vaccination Telephone Consultation

Pay a £25 consultation deposit when you book your telephone consultation. If you have your vaccinations with us, we’ll deduct the £25 from your final bill. If you decide not to go ahead, the £25 consultation fee is non-refundable.

2. Fill Out Your Travel Risk Assessment Form

We’ll email you a short risk assessment form immediately after you book your consultation. Fill it in before your telephone consultation so our clinician can review your destination, itinerary, and medical history and determine which vaccines you need.

3. Attend Your Travel Vaccination Appointment

Based on your assessment, our clinician will determine which vaccines you need before you come in for your appointment. You will receive your first round of vaccines in this appointment.

4. Payment & Follow Ups

Your initial Travel Health Consultation costs £25, which will be deducted from the cost of any vaccinations you receive. Some vaccines require a course delivered over multiple appointments, and if this applies, our team will advise you. You will be provided with a full cost breakdown following your consultation before proceeding with any vaccinations.

FAQ’s

You should aim to get your travel vaccinations courses completed six to eight weeks before you’re due to travel as your body needs time to develop immunity. Some vaccines will require multiple doses spread over several weeks or months.

For example, Cholera, Rabies Hepatitis A and B all need 2 or more doses over a period of time so you will need to plan your travel vaccinations. Our team can help with this.

Some travel vaccinations may cause mild side effects such as mild fever symptoms, headaches or nausea. Side effects like this can occur from the day of the vaccination up until around two weeks after the vaccination and should last no more than three days.

The length of time you are protected by a vaccination will differ for different vaccines. For example, two doses of the hepatitis A vaccination should protect you for at least 25 years, whereas booster vaccinations of the typhoid vaccine are recommended every three years if you continue to be at risk of infection.

You must be age 18 or over to book and attend a travel vaccination or consultation. We do not currently offer appointments for people under the age of 18 years.
