Mr Papp graduated with honours at University of Debrecen, Hungary. He has been a Specialist in Vascular Surgery since 1996 and obtained the European Qualification in Vascular Surgery (FEBVS) in 2003. He has been practising in the UK since 1996.

In 2002, he defended his PhD thesis titled “Aspects of Infrainguinal Treatment in Chronic Severe Lower Limb Ischaemia” under Professor Andrew W Bradbury’s guidance. He was a Visiting Professor at Yale University in 2004.

Mr Papp led the Academic Vascular Surgery Department in Debrecen, Hungary, in 2005-06. He held Vascular Consultant positions at renowned hospitals before his current post at BCUHB. He’s an examiner for FEBVS since 2004 and a reviewer for ‘International Angiology.’ With subspecialty interests in carotid surgery, vascular access, and venous diseases, Mr Papp is also involved in vascular education.

He serves as the Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery in North Wales and sees private patients at the Enigma Healthcare Clinic in Tarporley.
