Our health assessment offers you an all-encompassing overview of your current wellbeing.

What is a Health assessment?

A Health assessment is a preventive health check and a great way to gain an overview of your current health and well-being by using Medical and non-invasive tests. During the assessments the trained nurses and health advisors will provide in depth discussion on any health concerns as well as create a future plan for your health.

For some assessments you will have time with a Doctor, in which there will be further testing and a consultation on any specific health concerns. If needed, follow up appointments with the NHS or private GP referrals for treatments or diagnostics can be arranged. To help reach your long-term health and fitness goals you will have access to 12-month support from our experts. Anyone is welcome to book, you do not need to be an existing Bupa Member or hold Bupa Private Medical Insurance.

Be. Motivated

Be. Motivated is a great way to make changes to benefit your future. An hour with our health advisor will help review your lifestyle and indicate your current health. Ending with a discussion on how to improve your health.

Be. Reassured

A more comprehensive 2-hour assessment, having time with both a Doctor and health advisor. Gain a thorough review of your health and lifestyle with tests personalised to you and a consultation with the doctor on specific health concerns.

Be. Ahead

The most advanced of the health assessments, Be. Ahead is a 3-hour assessment with both the GP and health adviser. Reviewing both your health and lifestyle with the health advisor.

You will also receive personalised tests to you, a consultation with the doctor over an specific health concerns and a 30 minute Fitness test. Results from the test and next steps will be discussed with the health advisor.

Microsuction

Microsuction is one of the best ways to remove earwax and much safer and quicker than previously used method of ear syringe. A trained health adviser will assess your ear canal, if needed a gentle suction device will be used to remove the blockage.

The device uses suction to help loosen and remove the impacted earwax. Once removed, the ear will be reviewed using the microscope to ensure the ear is healthy.
