Are my moles dangerous?

Most moles are benign, or non-cancerous. If you have a longstanding mole which has not changed, your mole is likely not dangerous. However, there are a few features to look out for:

Size – If your mole is more than 5mm or has grown in size

Shape – If your mole is irregular in shape

Border – Irregular borders

Colour – change in colour

Bleeding – if there has been bleeding without injury

If your moles have any of these features, you should book a consultation to assess your moles.
