Appointments for blood tests and scans are available weekly, including on evenings and weekends, with no waiting times.

Results can be transferred to your NHS GP or other medical specialist within 72 working hours, however, some tests take longer to run in the laboratory. The team will be able to inform of an exact turnaround time upon enquiry and appointment.

Whether you have private medical insurance or are self-funding, you can access our services directly with minimal waiting times.

Ultrasound Scan

Ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of internal organs, aiding in the diagnosis of various conditions. Scans are performed by expert radiologists for accurate results.

Types of Ultrasound:

Musculoskeletal – Assesses soft tissue injuries (Elbow, Knee, Hip & Upper Thigh etc.)
Gynaecological – Examines reproductive health (assesses ovarian cysts, endometrial thickness, fibroids, uterus and pelvic structures)
Abdominal – Detects gallstones and organ issues (Liver, Pancreasm Spleen, Kidneys, cysts, bladder abnormalities)
Testicular – Non-invasive Scan to diagnose conditions relating to pain, swelling and lumps
Thyroid – Screens for abnormalities, structure and size, monitors changes in nodules, Lymph Nodes

Cardiovascular Screening Tests

Echochardiography (ECHO)

A heart ultrasound assessing structure, function, and blood flow to diagnose conditions like valve disease and heart failure. Non-invasive, painless, and takes 30-45 minutes. Conducted by experienced cardiologists.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

A quick, non-invasive test recording heart rhythm and electrical activity to detect conditions such as arrhythmias and coronary artery disease.

14-day Cardiac Monitor

A 14-day cardiac monitor that is a small and discreet biosensor patch that records ECG data continuously for the wear period, while you carry on with normal daily activities. Appointments must be booked in conjunction with a Cardiology Initial Consultation, for full assessment and medical history to ensure this type of monitoring is best appropriate for you.

Carotid Screening

A Doppler ultrasound measuring blood flow in the carotid arteries, identifying narrowing that could lead to a stroke. Recommended for those at risk of cardiovascular disease Non-invasive and performed by specialist radiologists

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening (AAA)

A quick, painless scan to detect swelling in the aorta, reducing the risk of rupture. Essential for men over 65 or those at risk Early detection allows for monitoring and treatment.
