FAQ’s

Enigma Healthcare accepts both self-pay patients and those using health insurance.
Confirm with your insurer in advance whether the Wellbeing checks are covered under your plan.

If any results or assessments indicate an issue, our GP will discuss this with you and recommend appropriate follow-up or referral to a specialist. Our service is fully bespoke, with referral where necessary.

You’ll discuss your results in the GP consultation and leave with a printed report. For routine blood tests, the time can vary; Enigma Healthcare aim to provide swift results.
If any further investigation is needed, we will recommend next steps.

While there is no one-size-fits-all interval, a “health MOT” style check is often recommended annually or every 1-2 years for preventative purposes. The right interval for you will depend on your age, personal/family history, lifestyle and health status — this can be discussed with the GP.

No. This service is a private health check provided in addition to your NHS care. You should continue any care with your NHS GP and may wish to share any reports or results from the private check with them for continuity of care.

The health assessment itself is 1 hour. Following that, you’ll have a GP consultation (up to 1 hour) to go through your results.

You will need to avoid caffeine the morning off your first appointment with our health advisors, because we conduct key diagnostics and tests which can be impacted by caffeine such as an ECG.
