Dale Vimalachandran is a Reader in Colorectal Surgery at the University of Liverpool and an Honorary Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust. Dale specialises in colorectal and general surgery, with a clinical focus on colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and benign proctology. His practice also encompasses advanced procedures such as colonoscopy, pelvic floor surgery, and hernia repair.

Dale Vimalachandran completed specialist fellowships in trauma surgery in South Africa and colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, USA. This international experience has contributed to a broad and deep understanding of surgical techniques and patient care.

Academic and Research Contributions

As an academic surgeon, Dale Vimalachandran is actively involved in surgical oncology and translational research.
